FITMENT CHECK

This is the 4-pin switch for Ceratos with cruise control. Ceratos without cruise use the 2-pin switch 93810-2E000. On the TD sedan 2.0L the catalogue lists this switch for builds up to 09/2010.

ABOUT THIS SWITCH

The Cerato switch runs two circuits - one for the brake lights and one that tells the ECU you are braking so cruise control cancels and the shift lock releases.

On the G4KD-powered TD and Koup a failing switch often shows up as cruise control that will not set before the brake lights fail, because the ECU sees the two circuits disagree.
