SensorGal Ltd | ABN: 49 790 859 556 | sensorgal.com
1. General
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and sale of products by SensorGal Ltd (ABN 49 790 859 556), operating at sensorgal.com, 9 Blaxland Ave, Cranbourne North VIC 3977, Australia. By placing an order with SensorGal you agree to these Terms in full.
The term "SensorGal", "we", "us" or "our" refers to SensorGal Ltd. The term "you" or "buyer" refers to the customer placing an order. SensorGal reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The version published at the time of your order applies to that transaction.
2. Products
All products sold by SensorGal are aftermarket OEM replacement parts. SensorGal does not sell genuine manufacturer-branded parts. Our products are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by any original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for general guidance only and may vary from the actual product received due to manufacturing revisions, regional variants, or supplier changes. SensorGal reserves the right to correct errors or omissions in product listings at any time, including after an order has been submitted.
3. Fitment and Compatibility
3.1 Fitment information is a guide only
All vehicle compatibility and fitment information provided on our website is intended as a guide only. Fitment data is independently verified against TecDoc, NAPA, and Australian market catalogues; however, vehicle fitment can vary due to:
- Manufacturing variants within the same model year
- Regional or market-specific differences
- Model revisions and running changes made by the manufacturer
- Aftermarket modifications previously made to the vehicle
- Multiple compatible part numbers existing for a single vehicle application
The existence of more than one compatible part for a single vehicle is common in the aftermarket industry. SensorGal makes no warranty that any part listed as compatible will fit every vehicle of that make, model, and year without visual verification by the buyer.
3.2 Buyer's responsibility to verify before installation
It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to verify that the part received is correct before installation. Specifically, you must:
- Visually compare the received part with the original part removed from the vehicle
- Confirm that connectors, dimensions, thread sizes, and mounting points match
- Compare part numbers where available
- Confirm compatibility with a qualified automotive technician if you are unsure
Once a part has been installed, it is considered accepted and cannot be returned unless it is proven to be faulty or not as described at the time of purchase. SensorGal accepts no responsibility for incorrect fitment selection made by the buyer.
3.3 Parts damaged during installation
Parts that have been damaged during installation, modified, or used in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose will not be considered faulty and will not be accepted for return or warranty claim.
4. Quality Assurance
All parts are inspected and QA checked before dispatch to verify they meet OEM-equivalent specifications. Despite this, SensorGal provides no warranty that any part will resolve a specific vehicle fault or diagnostic code.
A part that passes QA inspection may still be unsuitable if the incorrect part has been selected, or if the vehicle fault has a different underlying cause. SensorGal products are not a substitute for professional mechanical diagnosis.
5. Installation and Liability
5.1 Professional installation recommended
SensorGal strongly recommends that all parts be installed by a qualified automotive technician. Incorrect installation of automotive sensors, switches, ignition components, and electrical parts can result in vehicle damage, warning lights, fault codes, failed roadworthy inspections, or unsafe vehicle operation.
Many parts are dispatched without installation instructions as they are intended for fitment by qualified professionals.
5.2 DIY installation — at your own risk
If you choose to install a part yourself, you do so entirely at your own risk. By completing your purchase you acknowledge that SensorGal advised you that parts should be fitted by a suitably qualified person. SensorGal accepts no responsibility for:
- Vehicle damage or malfunction arising from self-installation
- Incorrect diagnosis of the vehicle fault prior to purchasing
- Parts installed based on internet guides, forums, YouTube videos, or third-party troubleshooting advice
- Failure to follow vehicle manufacturer service intervals, module coding, or adaptation procedures after installation
- Any consequential loss, damage, or injury resulting from installation of our products
5.3 No liability for consequential costs
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, SensorGal is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental costs or damages of any kind, including but not limited to:
- Mechanic or labour fees
- Vehicle hire or towing costs
- Cost of additional parts or supplies required due to incompatibility
- Repairs or damage to the vehicle arising from installation
- Accommodation or other expenses arising from vehicle downtime
5.4 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, SensorGal's total liability is limited to the replacement of the product or a refund of the purchase price paid for the specific product in question.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
