ABOUT THIS SENSOR

The pre-cat oxygen sensor provides the ECU with exhaust oxygen data for fuel trim control. On the Ford EA-EL Falcon with 3.9L 4.0L inline-6 and 5.0L V8 Windsor this is a narrow-band switching-type sensor. Failure causes open-loop running and increased fuel consumption.

How do I replace an oxygen sensor?
