The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is critical for the fuel injection system on the classic Holden 3.8L and 5.0L engines. This Premium unit is calibrated specifically as a 1-Bar sensor for naturally aspirated engines. It restores smooth idle and fuel economy.

DO NOT FIT TO SUPERCHARGED ENGINES (L67).

Supercharged V6 engines require a 2-Bar sensor (Part No. 16040609). This sensor is 1-Bar only. Fitting this to a supercharged car will cause lean running and engine damage.

1-Bar Pressure Sensor for Manifold. Not a Boost Sensor for Supercharged.

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is crucial to a vehicle's engine management system. However, if it's faulty, replacement might be necessary to maintain optimal engine performance.
